Doors to the MPR open at 8:25 a.m. daily for breakfast and before school recess
Office Hours
The Onaga Elementary School office is open daily from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Please keep in mind that office staff is working very quickly to help parents in the office and on the phone as well as teachers and students around campus, so be curteous and respectful when speaking to front office staff.

Onaga school colors are MAROON and TEAL! Be sure to wear them with pride each Friday to help your class win the school spirit totem!

ONES Mission Statement
The mission of Onaga Elementary School is for the staff, students, parent and community members to work in partnership, guiding students through successful, diverse learning experiences and developing knowledge, work ethics and individual responsibility to prepare them for the future. Through integration, cooperation and recognition of individual differences, we will offer a consistent and measurable progression of academic skills, and promote social values that enable students to reach high levels of academic achievement to become positive and productive citizens.
Onaga Elementary School teachers work with students to create a positive and motivating learning environment that promotes college readiness. Using interventions, data management, assessments, and standards alignment with California State Standards, the teachers facilitate learning experiences which decrease the achievement gap for all students. In addition, the staff members collaborate with one another and reach out to parents to create a culture of universal achievement, ensure that unity occurs among students, parents, and staff, and make certain that students achieve social and academic success.
