STUDENTS

 Each Wednesday is an early release day. School gets out at 12:30 pm. Tutoring is on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Late buses are available.

TODAY ARE ON AN ASSEMBLY SCHEDULE and hosting our first PBIS assembly to celebrate our students who’ve passed all their classes with C’s or better, have less than 4 tardies, and zero suspensions for the first quarter. Students and families will be notified via phone call and your 7th period teachers will receive a list via email by Wednesday. If you were not invited to this PBIS assembly this time, you can try again next quarter. Everyone gets a fresh reset each quarter.

SATURDAY SCHOOL:   Our next   Saturday School of the year is scheduled for Saturday, December 2. Four hours of Saturday School will clear one full day absence. As a reminder 9 or more unexcused absences in any classes will result in no credit for that class. Please sign-up in the attendance office or scan one of the Saturday School Posters on campus.

THERE WILL BE A BLOOD DRIVE ON December 7. Sign-ups begin on  Blood Drive begin on November 6 during both lunches.

THE YUCCA VALLEY LADY TROJAN BASKETBALL TEAM scored their second win to start the season by beating the tournament host Riverside Poly HS 69-25 in second round game last night. Senior Cadence Tarrant was a force again scoring 23 points. She was followed by junior Tayla Monroy who hit six 3-point baskets on her way to 22 points. Junior CeCe Gilmore was a strong presence in the post scoring 13 points while freshman Naveah Baclig came off the bench to add 7 points. The Yucca girls, now 2-0 on the season, play Ayala HS from Chino in a third- round tournament game tonight at Riverside Poly HS. Tip-off is 6:30 pm.
