STUDENTS:
GOOD MORNING TROJANS! YVHS’s Garage Band and The Desert Diamond Steppers will be teaming up on Wednesday, May 1 for an amazing evening of Karaoke. Come hang out in the MPR from 3:00 pm. to 6:00 pm. and sing your hearts out to your favorite songs. The entry fee is $5 at the door and concessions will also be available at various prices. We look forward to seeing you.
STUDENTS, WE HAVE AN UPDATE on the spirit week competition. So far the seniors are in the lead with a total points of 1,200. Juniors are in 2nd place with 798. Sophomores are in 3rd with 634 points. Freshmen are in last place with 507. However, there is one spirit week left so get your spirit up! Whichever class wins gets the most spirit participation, will collect their prize during the PBIS assembly on May 24th.
SATURDAY SCHOOL: Our next Saturday School of the year is scheduled for Saturday, April 27. 4 hours of Saturday School will clear one full day absence. As a reminder 9 or more unexcused absences in any classes will result in no credit for that class. Please sign up in the attendance office or scan one of the Saturday School Posters on campus.
STAFF AND STUDENTS, TPP will be hosting our Spring Blood Drive here on campus on May 3! Come save a life! Permission slips are due now in the Library.
SENIORS:
GRAD NITE TICKETS are on sale at lunch in the ASB office until April 30. You must have your ID and your signed permission slip to purchase. If you want to ride the bus with a friend you must both show up to pay at the same time.
PROM CONTRACTS are now available in the ASB office.
IF YOU MISSED THE JOSTENS Cap and Gown delivery you can pick your order in ASB at lunch. ACCE students can pick them up them up in the office. You must have already ordered one and have your student ID to pick up.
