STUDENTS:

All students who turned in Work Permit Applications for ELOP, they are finished. Please come to the Office and pick them up.

Students who received a green Federal Survey card, it is time to turn them in. Please make sure that it is signed. If you need a replacement card please come to the front desk in the Office. Teachers please send up any that you have.

GSA True Colors meets every Thursday in V-2 after school. Come and hang out with likeminded people.

The Desert Diamond steppers are hosting their first ever dance off fundraiser with your favorite DJ, Jay Entertainment. On November 8 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm the step team will be having a dance off party in the MPR, tickets will be $5 for kids and $10 for adults. Make sure you grab some friends because this event is open to the public, ages 12-18.

Hey Trojans! Junior class is selling Trojan theme blankets, $35 with ASB and $40 without! Check out the ASB Office to get yourself one and help support your juniors to pay for prom!

The Town of Yucca Valley Youth Commission Applications are now available in the Office. Be the voice of young people in your community. Students in grades 7 through 12 are eligible to apply.

Yucca Valley Community Center and Hi-Desert Nature Museum present a Halloween Spooktacular at the Yucca Valley Community Center on Saturday, October 26. For more information pick up a flyer for The Town of Yucca Valley 2024 Fall and Winter Programs and Events in the Front Office. This also contains information on the Youth Basketball League, Pee Wee League and other holiday events.

SPORTS:

This is the last week any girls or boys can join the Cross- Country team. To join you need an athletic physical from a doctor and athletic clearance filled out online. If you have any questions see Coach Francis in room G-8.

There will be a Basketball Team Open Gym on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the YVHS Gym. Athletes need to have physicals uploaded to athleticclearance.com by Nov. 5. Any questions, email coachpricej@gmail.com.

At the 2024 Fleet Feet Inland Empire Challenge in Rancho Cucamonga on October 19th the Boys Cross- Country all improved Personal Best time by a minute. Tyler Williams got 6th and Seth Lower got 8th in their race with Michael Tennison, not far behind them.
