There is a GATE field trip to California State University, San Bernardino and the UCR Botanical Gardens on February 4. If any GATE student wishes to attend, they must see Mrs. Hinzman in M-4 for the permission slip.
The Winter Formal is coming up in a couple of weeks! Be sure to buy your tickets, $10 with ASB and $20 without and out of school guests $30. Nominations for King and Queen, Prince and Princesses will be up soon. Don't forget Winter formal will be on February 1 from 7:00-10:00 pm and the theme is Candy Land.
Transition Partnership Program will be hosting their second blood drive of the school year: Friday, February 7, from 7:15 am to 1:00 pm in the Wrestling Room. You can grab a parental consent form and sign up in front of the Library during lunch. Drop off your completed forms in the Library at the Librarians Desk! *Donors under the age of 18 must bring a signed LifeStream parental consent form. Let's help save lives!

ATTENTION Seniors! It is time to order your high school diploma. Please complete the information requested in your synergy email, then return to the Counseling Office. Since your diploma is a legal document, you must use your LEGAL NAME. (This is not necessarily the name called out at graduation). If you are unsure of middle name spelling or anything else, verify the information before returning this form. Please PRINT your name neatly and exactly as you wish it to be printed. Use UPPER and LOWER case letters. If you would like a space, be sure to make it obvious. The deadline is January 28, 2025.
Seniors, the time to submit your Senior Quotes to yearbook is here! Check your email for a message from Mr. Sanchez, or scan the QR code posted outside L-6. Upload personality pictures, shout out friends, and share memories to be used in this year’s yearbook. The final date Senior Quotes can be submitted is January 31.

The Yucca Valley High School Boys Soccer program celebrated a night of commanding victories as both the JV and Varsity teams defeated their cross-town rivals, the 29 Palms Wildcats, in an exciting matchup that showcased the Trojans' skill and determination. The Junior team delivered a spectacular performance, securing an impressive 11-1 win. Coach Adan Mendoza nominated Tajvir Ladhar for his outstanding contributions as the starting goalkeeper, and Daniel Rodriguez, who shined offensively, as the Players of the Match. Rodriguez led the charge with a stunning hat trick (3 goals), cementing his place as a key offensive force for the Trojans. The Varsity Trojans showcased their dominance with a 5-0 shutout victory against the Wildcats. Coach Jorge Rodriguez nominated Adrian Tamayo as the Offensive Player of the Match for his exceptional performance in leading the team's attack. Goalkeepers Adrian Williams and Tim Wahlberg earned recognition for their stellar efforts in maintaining the clean sheet, displaying outstanding defensive skills and teamwork to ensure the Wildcats were unable to score. The Trojans are thrilled to continue their journey, now one step closer to solidifying their playoff position. They aim to keep the momentum going as they prepare to host the Coachella Valley Arabs at home on Monday. JV kick-off: 4:00 pm. Varsity kick-off: 5:30 pm. Come out and support the Trojans as they fight to maintain their winning streak and represent Yucca Valley with pride!
The Yucca Valley Lady Trojans battled to overcome a slow start but couldn’t recover falling by a 48-33 score at 29 Palms HS on Tuesday evening in a Desert Valley League contest. The Lady Trojans were behind 26-12 at halftime but pulled within 7 points midway through the third quarter trailing only 30-23 before the Wildcats regained control of the game. Senior Syhelie Gilmore led the team with 8 points and sophomore Nahveah Baclig scored 7 points. Senior Toriana Simpson added 6 points for the Yucca girls who host Indio HS Tuesday for Senior Night in the Trojan Gym. The tipoff is set for 5:30 pm.
