Transition Partnership Program will be hosting their second blood drive of the school year: Friday, February 7, from 7:15 am to 1:00 pm in the Wrestling Room. You can grab a parental consent form and sign up in front of the Library during lunch. Upload personality pictures, shout out friends, and share memories to be used in this year’s yearbook. Tomorrow is the last day to submit Senior Quotes.

The Yucca Valley Lady Trojan Basketball team ran away with a 57-11 Senior Night win over the Indio Rajahs on Tuesday evening in Trojan Gym. The Lady Trojans jumped out to a 31-4 halftime lead as they improved their Desert Valley League record to 4-3 on the season. Senior Syhelie Gilmore pumped in a game high 14 points. She was followed by the trio of senior Tayla Monroy, junior Teagan Moon and sophomore Kamea Medina who each scored 9 points. Senior Toriana Simpson chipped in 8 points and sophomore Nahveah Baclig added 6 points. The Yucca girls travel to Coachella Valley HS on Thursday for a critical game which will determine who will claim second place and a playoff berth for the upcoming postseason. The tip-off is set for 5:30 pm.
Our Yucca Valley High School Boys Soccer played away at Indio High School on Tuesday night. Our JV lost 3 to 1, on a tough night. Our goal was scored by Captain Brayan Quintero, who was also named man of the match. Varsity lost 4 to 1. Our boys played hard all the way until the last minute. It just wasn't our night, but we finished the game with 100% effort. Both JV and Varsity teams continue to improve week after week. and we are headed in the right direction. Our next game is at home on Thursday January, 30 as we host Coachella Valley High School. That same night will be our last home game of the season and we will celebrate our Seniors at senior night. Please come and show support for our student athletes. The ceremony will be after the JV Game and before the Varsity Game at about 5:30PM.
