On August 6, 2024, the Board of Education of the Morongo Unified School District adopted a resolution to hold an election on November 5, 2024. The purpose of the election was to seek voter approval for the issuance of bonds totaling $88,300,000 to fund specific projects outlined in the bond project list included in the full text of the measure.
The election was held as scheduled on November 5, 2024. Following the election, the Registrar of Voters for San Bernardino County provided the Board with a certified statement of the election results. The statement confirmed that at least 55% of the votes cast were in favor of the 2024 Bond Measure.
The bonds authorized by the approved 2024 Bond Measure, known as Measure C, will fund the voter-approved projects specified in the November 5, 2024, election.

The MUSD is currently seeking applications for the Measure C Citizens' Oversight Committee! The committee will play a crucial role in overseeing expenditures for money allocated through Measure C. Please note that employees, vendors, contractors, consultants and public officials of the District are prohibited by law from being members of the committee. To qualify you must be a resident in the MUSD. The committee is also required to have at least one member representing the five categories:
A member active in a business organization
A member active in a senior citizens’ organization
A parent/guardian of an MUSD student
A parent/guardian active in a PTO
A member active in a bona fide taxpayer’s organization
Representatives-at-Large will also be considered for membership.
